Evolutionary Functional Fit for Life Pilates!

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates focused his exercises on the core, postural muscles which help to keep the body balanced and provide good alignment and support for the spine, whilst concentrating on the awareness of breath. “I totally dislike dogmas and extreme pilates methods. Joseph Pilates has left his method open and available for interpretation rather your praxis is quiet and meditative or dynamic and powerful, it is only through the Pilates Principles that give a good measure of guidelines. An educated and well qualified instructor will be able to create their own style and approach without the fear of critics from the general public.” (Christiane Reiter)
