FITNESS PILATES…… what you need to know

Fitness Pilates is a modern, research based fitness class for the apparently healthy adult, it is neither remedial, clinical nor is it designed for rehabilitation. Fitness Pilates utilises all the principles and includes many of the mat work exercises of traditional Pilates, but further offers modifications, diversifications and updated exercise prescription to provide a controlled body conditioning program appropriate for the general public.

Fitness Pilates is a complimentary class aimed at all levels, ages and abilities. It is general level incorporating basic Pilates techniques and exercises in a non intimidating and easy to follow way. It is aimed at group exercise participants looking for an excellent body conditioning work out using equipment with Pilates principles and good posture throughout. Fitness Pilates is unlike clinical Pilates which are small group classes whose aim is rehabilitation.

Thursday 10.00 - 11.00am and 11.30 - 12.30 - Beginners to Intermediate Fit For Life Pilates

A great introduction to the world of Pilates covering all abilities. A session to work at your own pace with adaptations to suit all.

The 10.00am session very popular and can become very busy, so to avoid disappointment I am now running a second class at 11.30am

Thursday 6 - 7pm - Kettlercise

Kettlebells! a fantastic tool that improves cardiovascular conditioning, fat loss, strength gain and muscular endurance, especially for the legs, buttocks & lower back.  Develop an entire lean body and shed pounds!
